Professional aqua blasting services

Aqua blasting, also known as vapour blasting, is a non-aggressive wet blasting process for removing surface dirt, carbon deposits and grime from metal parts and components. A water based emulsion containing micro particles of just 100-150 microns in diameter is applied under pressure which gently removes the contaminants on the surface of the component.

With this process, the underlying surface is crucially left intact; other blasting methods can actually remove the surface material from the components which can alter critical dimensions or leave the surface pitted.

This makes Aqua blasting perfect for delicate parts and soft metals, such as Aluminium Alloy, Magnesium, Titanium, Brass and Copper. It leaves a satin finish, with the added bonus that the gentle peening effect can reduce porosity in castings.

Ideal for many applications in the Automotive, Marine and Aviation industries, individual parts can be treated from as little as £30.
